Hi Friend Smiley

Thanks for your wonderful hike. I also did this from Kalupahana to Horton's Plains. ( Little bit difference )

In my trip I was pointing the beauty of nature and your trip you were pointing "HUMANITY " Cool Cool

So it's a great value addition to your report. Whether we like it or not THE MAN is the best creation of NATURE. So we should respect human at any cost as well as we take care nature. So i feel the entire theme of your report is "Respect Humanity ".

I was really impressed with your report.

Thanks for the share
keep it up

Hi Upul,

Thank you sharing your trip report.  Smiley
It is indeed a great hike with a great distance. I loved your photos as well.
And a big thank you for those pictures of the children. Me and a friend of mine just started up a facebook page to take people with us on hiking and camping on a low budget basis to help us pay our exam fees and other miscellaneous costs. But while seeing your pictures, my eyes filled with sympathy tears..I feel like I want to collect a portion of the profit I get, to these children, maybe take them some food items etc when I get the time whenever visiting Ohiya. I'm not sure how far it would work, but I have the intention for it. All merit goes to you if I start doing it and thank u very much.

Best regards,

Hi Upul
Very nice hike you've done... must've been a treat to the eyes...
I'd walked up to Devil's Staircase from Bambarakanda and back....
Would love to do the same from Ohiya too...
Thanks for the info...
Cheers
