Actually I'm not sure  Sad. None of these maps has the legend. There are 96 sheets covering the entire country and therefore I think these are 1:50000 maps. As per this post about maps of Sri Lanka, the "inch maps" have only 72 sheets to cover the country.

Hi it's interesting because 1:50,000 maps are in only 92 sheets. If you can post part of a map I would able to tell what r they (because two types use different types of symbols). I am interesting about one inch maps (i think they are more accurate on geographical features then 1:50,000) .

Hello Sumal,

If you are looking for printed maps, maps drawn to the scale of 1:50,000 could be bought from the Survey Department. Its Rs.150/- per sheet.

They might also have maps that are drawn to the scale of 1:10,000. They are (I remember as) Rs.500/- per sheet.

You can read more about it here. http://www.lakdasun.com/forum/index.php?topic=562.0

Best Regards,

Priyanjan.

Hi Mithila,

Please uplaod it to a file sharing site as well with password protection. That would help unlucky fellows like us who has torrents blocked at office. Angry

I have created two zip files each abour 350mb. Uploading to a file share did not work so the only option seems to be the torrent. I have craeted the two torrents and have atatched them herewith. I will seed them daily from 8.00 p.m. IST (GMT+5.30) until close to mid-night. The Zip files are password protected.
