I was there last week end. Again a nice place but the surrounding is not as exciting as in the case of Maha Eliya bungalow.

It got four bed rooms. Two double rooms and two triple rooms. There were three bath rooms as well. You get hot water  and electricity, both solar powered so it all depends on the weather. Hot water system was out of order in two out of three bathrooms.  Sad It is sad how low quality the some of the construction work is, specially in bathrooms.

There are no heaters but a set of good blankets were there.

see some pictures below

Appreciate if you could bit elaborate on the road condition. Will it be possible to make it to the bungalow with a 121???
Further, I wonder if someone can explain the current status of the bungalow and the roads PLS.......

I have so many fond memories of this place. This place used to be called Anderson Lodge back then. I was first taken there by my parents when i was about 1 year old. Thereonwards we went there 6-7 times and there was a lovely bungalow keeper there who was very helpful and even carried me all the way to worlds end and back. The place was very cosy and nicely built, but recently this place had become badly maintained, and the bungalow was extended in a very crude way which makes the place very ugly.

There is another bungalow near the park entrance which has a better view of the plains around it.
