Does anyone know how many people can stay in the forest department dormitory at Illukkumbura?

Hi Mithila,

  Ilukkumbura forest department dormitory has two rooms, The one we booked can accommodate 16 and the other one can accommodate about 6 as for my knowledge. There is another bungalow little bit up in to Thelgamuwa Oya which is also belong to forest department which can accommodate 8 persons. As per my knowledge the bungalow cost little bit more ( Rs.4500 or  something ) but it is in a quite a beautiful location.

Thanks your coperation to plan my knuckles trip.
Any way these days forest department not accepting bookings for their reverston dormitory, or other bunglow due to lack of water. This is for your information.
