Hi Ashan,

As always very well written report and for a moment i felt that i was part of the journey  Wink ... you have being exploring places which honestly I would never dream of doing  Grin Raksha kata is an interesting place ... eye catching images ... keep walking ... thnx for sharing.

Phew! at it again, Ashan...really interesting places. The photos really bring it to life.  Each of them say a story.
The Rassa Kata is amazing - was the water deep, and did you have a bath?? Grin Did you follow the stream all the way to the start point? Have the villagers gone through the Rassa kata?  Yes, questions as usual!

the book extract - its from Punchihewa's Souvenirs of a Forgotten Heritage?

When is the next report?  Grin

thanks for the comments...and regarding the rassa kata we did not get down to it since there was water during may and we didnt have a rope and i had to stop one of my crew members attempting to descend .. we went down stream and we a wonderful bath from the second waterfall...the villages who went with me havent but others have..
the book extract is an image which you sent me....so i didnt have to take a photo from my book  Grin Grin Grin Grin
and reports will be coming one by one until i stop traveling which i doubt...
