Hi sheham and Tony

Most of the pictures were taken by Krishfer one of my friend in this forum. Actually we recorded lots of bird species. Although the season is so dry we were bit lucky to see many animals and birds in villus. I guess that if the the guide is with good experience in wildlife, we can get a good opportunity to close more species.

Thanks once again for kind comments .....

Willey is my favorite place on earth.

I feel so much peace and tranquility in this park.

Sitting on a "hansi putuwa" in the Panikkawila bungalow, just watching an elephant grazing peacefully on the grass of the villu. You cant ask for anything more.

This truly is heaven on earth

The last picture shows how dry it was.  Shocked

It was VERY dry, Most of the villu’s had completely dried out, I saw so many animals searching for water in almost dried up waterholes, including Barking deer, Leopard, monkeys….

One leopard was walking around a water hole with so little water in the middle (probably depressions left by Elephant foot prints) and mud all around, and the leopard was trying for over 30 minutes before giving up on it.
