hi kasun
its a nice place to stay. bungalow condition is pretty well. hot water and room heaters are available .
bungalow keeper is there. he will make anything that you want. ( you have to bring rice, vegetable and others) there are 4 rooms. can accommodate 8 -10 people comfortably. there is nice place to bath near the  bungalow (ICE  COOOOOOL) Shocked . road condition is not too bad. if you can visit there by cab or van , that's better.(can manage with car. but i don't know the current situation. I've been there in 2011 march)
price is 5000+vat per day (approximately 5500/-) its worth. you can reach  horton plains via dayagama area, (I have no idea to about the permission of that way )and hike climb kirigalpoththa  as well.
in the farm, there are so many nice place to visit, i have uploaded some of them.
if you need further information please refer  this link. contact numbers are there

Hi All,
I have stayed here around 1991. The bungalow looks the same but it appears from comments given by recent visitors, many new facilities have been added.

The drive to Horton Plains via Diagama was a treat in the early '90 but when I tried to do it in 2008, was advised by the OIC of Diagama Police Station not to proceed even in my 4 x 4 double cab. So if anyone wants to try that road, would advise that they check with the police station or some reliable person living on Diagama Estate.

isn't it prohibited to use this road anymore..? I think it is closed for vehicles, but not sure. But still you can walk up the road, from the border of the estate to the HP.
