The story book pic is really lovely, Dilhan! you kept it all these years..!
May be the two little boys in the photo 'better if I can take them also'  will one day think of witnessing your balloon ride in the same way you now think of Pancha and Wada Bari Dasa's balloon ride!!!   Smiley

Hi Dilhan,
Wonderful experience.
As you said there is a risk involved in any kind of flying system but the risk is more in hot air ballooning, mainly due to the fact that the pilot has very little control over it.
I wonder whether you came across this post which I posted some time back in this forum.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi All,
Thanks for all the encouraging comments.

Wije,
I watched the video. It’s scary and that's the bad side of this adventure.  Sad Even though I have heard such things I never watched any video like this. Better I watched it after the ride.  Grin

NG,
let's wish that they will also be able to experience the same one day... Smiley

Dhanushka,
I saw your pics in FB sometime back.

Hi Dilhan,

Wonderful experience and loved every bit of it.
In fact I was there with Mr Jon Russell when he took the first balloon flight in Srilanka two years ago. He was just beginning and was acting as a supporting pilot during that flight. Loved the guy and good to see him flying full time now Smiley.

And Danushka, we also got Champagne that time. Looks like you guys were not so lucky Grin.

Cheers,
Jayathu
