We went yesterday to Wangedigala and Gommoliya . (Thanks to trip report on lakdasun)
The mountain is little bit dry.
The carriage way which leads to wangedigala is blocked overgrowth , You ll come to a place where there is a beautiful view but there is a fence ( I think its built by the Estate). Even it look like a dead-end the road is still there taking a right turn , follow the rocks which is the edge of the road and the rocks are the only thing that could be used to identify the carraige way which leads to wangedigala.
On the other hand we took a wrong turn and ended up climbing the mountain through thick overgrown with great slope and ended up in Gommoliya. Issue was we couldnt find water as water is on the other road.
If you take right road there is little spring just before you reach the top of the mountain range.
Safe journey!!
