There is also a place called "Ranga s beach hut" , which is also a very economical place for food and accommodation

Yes. I can recommend Ranga's "beach hut: his contact numb: 0773 179 594. I have been there many times.

very nice foods, reasonable room prices, less disturbs,.....cabanas near beach are great for good relaxation, reading books etc. having sea bath bit more risky.  its one of my favorite place in arugambey. its just 100 m next to Arugambay bridge towards panama road. Anyone go panama/ kudumbigala/ selawa village.... pls read book called" Visi pas wasaraka wanadivi thoraturu" written by Rev. taambugala anandasiri thero. You can buy it from "Buddajayanthi mandira bookshop at Thummulla junction, bambalapitiya. Its really great book and true facts, stories found by Rev thero are there. I met grand sons/ daughters of few of elder characters are coming in the books. its very interesting to know that how our old generation were living a very simple realistic life at panama remote village life. But dont be more attach to the unknown villagers. many cases there are very helpful. respect the religion and cultural practices the do. Esp in Sidda pattini devalaya at panama. so many things to explore ..but village life of 70-80 decades coming in book ..can not see any more...those GODS DIED already ....i saw few of those characters cemetery stones at panama....it was really interesting days of my life...

Next to “Ranga’s Beach hut” there is  a placed called Galaxy Lounge, which I can highly recommend, wonderful little place to chill out. I was there with my family about two years ago. Had a wonderful time.
