Perhaps we can have here a collection of nurseries to buy Endemic plants and other rare plants from.
Please feel free to add more.

Here's one:
Nursery of Ruk Rakaganno (http://www.sacredcat.org/rukrakaganno/)

Project: Nursery of Sri Lankan Trees
"In November 2004, Ruk Rakaganno set up its own nursery of trees (primarily mainly Sri Lankan indigenous endemic trees) in the premises of the Anglican Cathedral in Colombo. Over 80 species of trees have been collected and the collection is constantly added to. These include timber, ornamental, flowering, fruit, and medicinal trees, available for purchase by interested persons, for landscaping of their own properties."

You are coming out with very appropriate ideas which are the need of the hour. This is very good as when the time goes by hope there will be good awarenes. One of the teeting problems at present with the AURVEDIC  TREATMENT is also the difficulty in finding Herbs  I suppose and may be we could add those as well.. Thanks for initiating.

Hi

The Ruk Raks Nursery at the Anglican Cathedral in Colombo was closed down a couple of years back.

However, Ruk Raks manages the Popham Arboretum in Dambulla, and they have a good selection of indigenous plants for sale at the Arboretum.
