Need Help - Trip to Batticaloa & Ampara area

We are planing to visit places around Batticaloa and Ampara. Could anybody help us by providing information of interesting places, historical locations and tourist destinations around Batticaloa and Ampara? Big thank you in advance...!!

* Inginiyagala dam
* Digawapiya
* Pottuvil muhudu maha viharaya
* Magul maha viharaya lahugala
* Arugam bay
* Kudumbigala

Thanks a lot Sachintha....however, we understood that starting from Colombo and travelling through Batti, Ampara and come back through Kataragama within 4 days is really tough. Therefore, we decided to go to Pothuvil, Arugam bay and Kumana via Monaragala and back in the same route.
