kanneliya conservation center site office - 0915630579
Colombo -> Kottawa -> Southern highway -> Pinnaduwa -> Udugama -> Kanneliya. That was the route I used.

Its situated in Udugama (just 6km from Udugama town.) You can reach Udugama from Galle within 1.5hrs in a private vehicle. Road is fine but not carpeted.
You can contact Vishan 0774-614930. He is a fine guide and has lots of experiences with people who do researches.

Hi All,

We stayed at Kanneliya Forest Resort on last weekend (2nd and 3rd Feb).

I can recommend the place. Well maintained, very nice clean place with delicious foods.
Double room is 1800/=. You can order meals, about 300/= per meal.

One thing I noticed is even though they said they are not allowing taking liquor inside their premises, I saw two groups having liquor at their restaurant.  Huh

Kanneliya Forest Resort, Koralegama (091-5671867, 060-2906315). Highly recommended; Excellent food; Comfortable and clean rooms; Great views.
The place was excellent, very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very clean washrooms, and exceptional views of the Nannikiththa Ela which later joins the Gin Ganga. The food was delicious too.

Hello Smiley
My friends and myself are hoping to go to kanneliya so I googled for accommodation in a nearby place and then I stumbled upon this blog . With a glance of the photos all of us figured the place looks very nice and the stream flowing beside the resort seems to be a plus point too. The resort looks very nice and cosy so we want to book few rooms here. Could anyone please provide me the updated rates for the rooms and the food charges. Also it'd be really great if you can also tell me how many people the place can accommodate and a contact number Smiley

Thank you Cheesy
