Hi *,

Thanks for you encouraging comments. They are very valuable for us... :-)

And few things that I miss to say about this journey,

* if you start very early in the morning, and you are fit, if you know the path, you can do this journey within one day. (hiruna aiya's friends has done this within one day. But, he (and I also) suggest that do this journey leisurely, so that you can enjoy the unique environment in this path)
* If you does not get lost, you can do this by two days. I think, camping at that river (place where we camped at our second day) is a must do thing.
* If you do this after january, foot path should be cleared by the villagers.

Thanks again for reading...

Regards,
Chaturanga

Hi Chathuranga.

Wow....
This is great !.

Enjoyed much and thanks for sharing your excellent adventure.
As you lost your path due to toddy trappers, we lost ours due to elephants (Kuru Ali) at Daraniyagala - Udamalimboda trail. Grin Grin Grin Grin
Further I'm sorry on your digital camera, the non-living partner Sad and glad that you mange yourself without harm.  Smiley
