I have never traveled this route to Horton Plains. Can some one help me to find out the distance from Bandarawela and road conditions on this route?

Thanks

Thanks Priyanjan,

I'm sure a lot of us will benefit from your detailed description of this route.

Hey Guys,

We happened to take the option 3 (Haputale route) as the shrtcut via Kalupahana was in severe conditions as at June 2009. However Option 3 is not the best you could use. The road is curved up and road conditions are quite hoarse. So use option 3 as the last resort when u plan ahead the journey.
