Hi Ranshan,

We did not attempt the Gommoliya due to time limitations. Gommoliya was in the plan. but if we tried this in the morning we would have missed the train.
The view from Balathuduwa is better. Anyway I'm planning to do the entire range again within One day.

Thanks for the comments.

Hi Ramzy,
Nice report with beautiful pictures. Seems you have planned it well. This would be more completed if you hiked Gommolliya also. I was thinking to go to Adara Kanda side from Balathuduwa. Thanks for sharing beautiful report with us.

Hi ramzy,

Nice Report with with beautiful Images. Your trip remind me my trip to Adara Kanda via Wangedigala and Gommoliya in 2016 that I didn't write the report. Planning to do this trail again. I should write a report about that Trip. didn't write a trip for a while. anyway you could have hike Gommoliya. its not far way from the trail. it will take 1 hour or less.

Thanks for sharing

Hi Ramzy
Fabulous report with colourful images
This is one of my dream hikes
If you hadn't booked 3.15 train you could have easily done Gonmolliya too
This is the first documented source of doing wangedigala to Adarakanda.
Thanks a lot for sharing your adventure

Hi Amal,
Thanks for your comments. There are clear paths up to Adara kanda except final 200-300 meters. Clear sign of frequent travelers.
I planned for gommoliya and I could have done it. Due to time limitations and taken the responsibility of driving the team i didn't attempted this.
Attached was my plan. This will be useful for future travelers.!
