Hi Nayani,
Grand trip to Mannar and Thalimannar. You have been at some unknown places and good to know them to add to next trip. Same thing happened to me when I tried to visit Sand Islands. Then abounded it at last hour. Seems kids enjoyed a lot. Thanks for writing up.

Thanks for your kind words. Boat trips to sand banks do not operate any more. You have to have a Navy contact if you are to visit them. But its really worth the trouble.
