Hi Ashan,
Welcome back to the trek with beautiful report. Gedaragalapathana is seen to every near by peak and it is a long range. This was in my list for a long time and now it is easy to do. BW where are the pictures of Elephants😮

Is it possible to camp on there? will it need to get permissions? anyone aware of the weather condition in later Decembers? Pls reply at your earliest. Thanks!

thanks niroshan for the comments. btw the elephants trunk was what i saw the next second we vanished as quickly as possible from that location

sorry for the late reply. actually its the rainy season in december. the main problem is elephants. you could fill water at the mid way point if you travel along the stream as we did.
