Hi Ramzy,
Nice one day trip. I have tried to reach Balumgala in my visit to Kadugannawa but unable to reach the top due to lack of time. You were lucky to have superb weather. I climbed along the foot pathway next to the church at Gampola road then through tea bushes. But villagers told it woluld take a long time to reach the end. Then we came back.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Hi Sri,

I think its the first report on Balumgala-Kadugannawa. The surroundings of the place proves it very well. Its a clean place.
Visit once and experience the scenic beauty.

Thanks for your comments.

Hi Niro,

I read your report some time ago. Thanks for the motivation.  Wink
There is no clear path to this rock after end of the tea estate path. As mentioned in the report follow the path through the tea bushes and at the end you will see the rock. Then its your way. I don't know the path from the church!  Huh
It will take not more than 30 minutes.  Cheesy
