Hello all, Smiley
I recently stayed in the HP wild lfe department dormitory. Here are some updates about the place.Situated near the Mahaeliya bungalow.
It has 2 sections separately but in the same building. One section has 25 beds(13 beds in the ground floor and rest in the upstairs). One section has 3 toilets but very basic type.No showers available. But taps are there near the toilets & you can bath there.(door is broken). Now they provide gas for cooking. All the other utensils are there for cooking. You need only cook. They provide linen for beds & beds are allright(mattresses are new).Hot water is available(solar).Solar power system is available(But no wall sockets, so you can't charge phones, cameras, etc;)After you book the dormitory, you don't have to pay the entrance fee to the  park but vehicle pass has to be obtained(280/= for van). You have to leave the premises before next day 11.00a.m.(New caretaker is Prasad and he is friendly)
Regards.
Bopage.

Dear All

Just walked past the Dormitory and it was pretty much isolated as there were no guests staying.

Here's a video I took from the front of it and some pics of the surrounding including staff quarters.

Enjoy!

Hi Bopage,

Thanks for the information.

Can you please upload some pictures. Also please mention how we can book the dormitory and rates too.

If we book this for a team of School Students (30 Nos), Do we need to pay for visiting World's end trail and Kirigalpoththa trail in addition to the booking charges?
