Significance: A forest monastery used by Buddhist monks
Only the soft calls of the birds, the rustling leaves and the gentle drizzle accompany us as we weave our way up the picturesque Salgala forest monastery. Salgala is a haven for monks who have renounced the worldly pleasures and lead a life of austerity and meditation.
